Fernanda Jimena Carregado , Argentina, 1977. Artist, sculptor, textile designer, ceramist, milliner and an inveterate aesthete, specializing in embroidery, handmade ceramics and painting. Since she was a child she was interested in the visual arts and studied design in her country, venturing into architecture, interior design, fashion, visual design and continuing to this day to investigate in a self-taught manner.
Based in Malaga since 2000, creating two Spanish brands Shapó Olé and Alfarera Loca.
With more than 20 years in the design, art and fashion sector, she currently teaches workshops on ceramics, embroidery and different artistic techniques in her studio in San Pedro Alcántara, which opened in 2017. She markets her brand of ceramics and art pieces throughout Spain, drawing inspiration from nature and her personal experiences to create her own designs.
He constantly studies the field of design and art in order to incorporate new techniques into the disciplines he works in. In his early days in Spain, he discovered hat making by taking different courses to specialize in it. He saw the making of a hat as the creation of a sculpture, this being the beginning of a discovery that is still present in his artistic narratives to this day.
He currently holds both individual and collective exhibitions under his own name, with the aim of expressing his ideas through an emotional, positive approach and in connection with nature and its behavior.
His work approaches human emotions and reflects on the connection between everyday life and nature. His most significant pieces are investigations of mixed techniques, creating results that seek to express present, whole and honest moments of life itself.
She continually studies different techniques and researches human duality as a spectator from an objective perspective to understand emotions and their social effect. Her thinking is based on understanding the world and its elements, considering that it always has a positive side.
Creator of the artistic and philanthropic platform "19 October 19 artists", with the aim of helping people suffering from breast cancer. She is convinced that it is the responsibility of artists to contribute on a social level using their communication skills.
